Thanks for visiting. We are a family living in Northern California, just getting started. We’ve purchased a small plot of land and an old house in a nice area. Our place is at about 4,500 feet in elevation, we get cold winters and warmer summers.

I love my wife our garden and chickens. I like the outdoors, good friends, and gettin’ after it, whatever it is… skiing, biking, hiking, etc…

This site is about our homes progression. More specifically, it’s about our yards progression. As we learn and as we grow, this is our “log.” I hope that you can learn from it and that we can learn from your comments on what we’ve done.
